Freedom Begins Here
Freedom Begins Here was created in response to countless emails and phone calls from pastors and individuals looking for resources to really help with the problem of pornography and sexual addiction. Not just another book to read or a twelve-step program. Not a band-aid to cover the wound or a pill to mask the pain. We need to begin to shine the light of truth on the darkness by honestly talking about the problem, admitting our weaknesses and failings, and walk together in ruthless accountability.
Creation Care
EEN’s work is grounded in the Bible’s teaching on the responsibility of God’s people to tend the garden and in a desire to be faithful to Jesus Christ and to follow Him. EEN publishes materials to equip and inspire individuals, families, and churches; and seeks to educate and mobilize people to make a difference in their churches and communities, and to speak out on national and international policies that effect our ability to preach the Gospel, protect life, and care for God’s Creation.
Eleho
The mission of Eleho is to assist the Karen people through three main avenues: awareness, immediate assistance on the ground, and political advocacy. We believe each of these will play a vital role in bringing sustainable peace to the people who have fought for independence for over half a century.
Beautiful Day
Beautiful Day started as an idea to answer a very specific question, that is “if our church burned to the ground would the community care?” We were convinced the answer was “NO!” In 2004 we decided to build a creative approach to reaching our community through compassion, justice, and serving in Jesus’ name. There were a few blood drives, and meals handed out to families in need and the vision began to unfold. “What if we involved other churches? What if we included local businesses, government, education institutions and groups that can help? How can we work together to impact a whole community?” Beautiful Day is our response.
